About LEI

My name is Leila and I am thrilled to share LEI with you.

LEI didn’t start as a vintage brand. For a long time, I imagined creating my own clothing line, designing pieces from scratch and building full collections. But the deeper I went, the more I struggled knowing this fact: the fashion industry already produces far more than we’ll ever need, and contributing to that cycle no longer felt right.

Most of my closet was either second hand or vintage, which lead me to the idea of sourcing clothing that has already been made, rather than add on to the excess that there is today.

That realization became the foundation of LEI. Instead of making more, I wanted to elevate what’s already here. LEI is a brand rooted in purpose rather than production, created for people who want to dress thoughtfully and sustainably.

My biggest inspiration has been my Mom. Being able to wear the clothes she wore at my age and hearing stories about them is what made me love vintage clothing. I also stole half of her closet from her because I love her selection! It is not just about the beauty of the piece, it is also about the story behind it.

We are more than a vintage shop; we are here to remind you of the past and what already exists. Every piece is selected for its quality and ability to feel both current and lasting. You’ll find elevated basics and those rare pieces that instantly become staples.
